Erasmus+ Sport ACCESS project: launching a series of webinars organized by Sant'Anna School and ACR+ on environmental management topics, to improve environmental performance To increase the environmental performance of sports organizations

The Sustainability Management Laboratory (SuM Lab) at the Sant'Anna School continues its activities as a partner in the Erasmus+ Sport ACCESS project, coordinated by the Association of Cities and Regions for sustainable Resource management (ACR+). After conducting interviews, study visits, and KPI analysis at sports organizations, the project starts an extensive training phase. From November 2023, it is possible to participate in a series of training webinars that aims to expand and develop capacity and knowledge transfer among sports organizations in order to improve their environmental performance.

The program consists of five training modules, according to the following calendar:

  • November 15, 2023, 11:00 a.m.: "Sustainability reporting: advantages, trends and finding your audience."
  • December 15, 2023, 11:00 a.m.: "Understanding your own impact and identifying potentials."
  • January 15, 2024, 11:00 a.m.: "Green procurement: securing environmentally friendly goods and services";
  • Feb. 15, 2024, 11:00 a.m.: "Mobility, infrastructure, food and beverage - everything that could make an event more sustainable";
  • March 15, 2024, 11 a.m.: "Natural environment, ecosystems and biodiversity."

The courses are conducted in English. Speakers are selected from experts in the world of sports, environmental management and the circular economy, as well as specific areas such as communications, mobility, procurement, sustainable construction, nature conservation and waste management.
